Spine
The spine is a complex structure running from the base of the skull to the tail bone. It contains bone, disks, muscles, joints and nervous tissues. The function of the spine is to protect the spinal cord and spinal nerves while still allowing motion.

Frequently, problems with one or more of the structures causes pain, numbness or weakness necessitating a visit to a spine specialist.
