Mark E. McNemar, D.O.
Dr. McNemar is a fellowship trained Hand/Upper Extremity and Microvascular Surgeon. He was a native of Columbus, Kansas prior to his medical training in Kansas City. Dr. McNemar graduated from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences where he was also inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society. He then moved to Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis and affiliated hospitals to complete his orthopedic surgery residency. Dr. McNemar concluded his training with a combined Hand/Upper Extremity and Microvascular Fellowship at the University of Texas at San Antonio/Hand Center of San Antonio. He is an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Dr. McNemar’s specialty focuses on disorders of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder, including the treatment of carpal tunnel, wrist, elbow, and shoulder arthritis, as well as, rotator cuff pathology and microsurgical repair of nerves and vessels. He specializes in all disorders from the shoulder to the finger tip.
Dr. McNemar is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He also has his AOA board certification in Hand Surgery.
